Meet Palms, a newly formed Los Angeles based quartet featuring three former members of ISIS (Aaron Harris, Clifford Meyer and Jeff Caxide) with Deftones' vocalist Chino Moreno.
"Clifford, Jeff and I started Palms a little over a year ago out of a desire to continue making music together after ISIS ended," explained Harris. "Chino joined shortly after and our sound took shape from there. We've worked really hard on this first release and are excited for people to hear it. It's nice to be back behind the drum kit, and with this line up."

Deftones are currently in Los Angeles recording their seventh full-length with producer Nick Raskulinecz, who also produced the group's 2010 effort Diamond Eyes. A summer release is expected via Reprise.

Deftones will be touring this spring with Dillinger Escape Plan.
Deftones are currently touring in support of their latest full-length, Diamond Eyes which was released earlier this year through Warner Bros.
We reported earlier this year: Deftones were dealt a major blow in 2008 when long-time bassist and friend Chi Cheng was nearly killed in a car accident, which left him in a coma. At that time, Deftones were just putting the finishing touches on a new album. Out of respect for Chi, the band decided to put that album on the back-burner and the fate of the band was left uncertain. ...

Sacto's favorite sons, Deftones have just announced a string of Euro tour dates to follow their current US run, kicking off Nov. 12 at the Academy in Glasgow, UK with supporting act Coheed and Cambria for most dates. Deftones are currently touring in support of their latest full-length, Diamond Eyes which was released earlier this year through Warner Brs.
