We should have known better than to expect a "normal" album drop from new wave legends Devo, as they prepare to release their first new full-length album in 20 years! Earlier this month these quirky cats launched the Official Song Study where they gave listeners the chance to stream 16 unreleased tracks, of which, listeners could vote on the top 12 tracks he or she wanted to see make it on the album. Devo just posted a video response with the results.
Devo have dubbed the new album Something For Everybody, which is slated to hit the streets June 15 on Warner Bros. Records.

The Summer Slaughter Tour is embarking on its third year of showcasing many of the top bands the extreme music scene has to offer. Although The Summer Slaughter Tour has only been in existence since 2007, it has quickly become one of the premier extreme metal tours featuring various death metal and metal fusion bands handpicked from around the Globe.

Any lover of experimental music in the New York area should be aware of Pendu’s 3rd Annual Eye and Ear Fest! All acts are New York based and experimental in nature-but most of the similarities stop there. The diverse line-up promises that this will not be another endurance test music festival of the same thing over and over. Hardcore-punk outfit Ceremony, who have been hailed as the "Best Band in Hardcore Punk" by AMP magazine, have been brewing up a new LP and have just announced tour dates.
