Cosmic doom trio YOB made their return to the stage at the Northwest Terror Fest in Seattle, Washington alongside Coven, Cephalic Carnage, Wolves In The Throne Room, and many others. The performance served as guitarist/vocalist Mike Scheidt's first show since undergoing emergency diverticulitis surgery earlier this year. Diverticulitis is an inflammation of the digestive tract and is often life-threatening. The band also laid their purifying riff rituals upon Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, New York for three sold out nights- June 23rd, 24th, and 25th. EyeHateGod Eyehategod frontman Mike IX Williams made his triumphant return to the stage in April following a successful liver transplant this past December. Williams, who hadn't performed live in over a year, made his stage debut on April 14th at this year's Berserker Fest in Pontiac, Michigan alongside Off!, Negative Approach, Gwar, Weedeater, The Obsessed, and many more. Trap Them, Yautja, Die Choking, and Ten Ton Hammer recently played a packed Kung Fu Necktie billing in Philly with Blowthescene.com's photographer Dante Torrieri on hand to capture a gnarly set of photos for our viewing pleasure.

Philly-area heavy hitters Ten Ton Hammer set the trail ablaze with a patented blend of metallic hardcore, continuing to support the Always Empty EP, which BTS had the pleasure of premiering in conjunction with Harvcore Records earlier in 2016.
