Maryland/Pennsylvania experimental death-noise band Full Of Hell have announced the release of their most punishing, virulent, and dynamic album in their 8-year long career; titled Trumpeting Ecstasy, the 11-song album will be available May 5th, 2017 via powerhouse label Profound Lore Records.
Full Of Hell have had quite the journey leading up to the release of this this third full-length album; the band’s embryonic beginnings displayed their palette at it’s most primitive, d-beat and blast ridden hardcore punk with spats of noise and caustic rhythm, and within a few short years, they have bloomed into a true force to be reckoned with within the punk and ...

Produced by Colin Marson (Gorguts, Dysrhythmia, Krallice) at The Thousand Caves, Infrared Horizon sees Artificial Brain traveling towards a sonic realm where the music has become more brutal and dissonant, technical, atmospheric, and just overall more otherworldly. Lyrical themes delve into concepts within a dystopian future in which robots and cyborgs have outlived human beings and who believe themselves to be not of creation ...

Southern Lord has signed North American hardcore outfit SECT, the band comprised of an international cast of scene veterans hailing from the likes of Cursed, Burning Love, Earth Crisis, Catharsis, Undying, Day Of Suffering, No Tomorrow and many more. The result of these musicians' alignment is a caustic, riotous, belligerent style of vile hardcore fed by a boundless well of socio-political vitriol.
With two countries and four hometowns between them, SECT was born when two project ideas between tour mates merged into the same experiment, finally taking shape in 2015 and culminating in recording sessions in Raleigh, North Carolina in early 2016. The band is comprised of five veterans of '90s hardcore ...

Norwegian mavericks Okkultokrati are hitting the road again in support of their inventive and addictive Raspberry Dawn album, released in September through Southern Lord. The confirmed listing of shows is below, and the band is currently booking more shows to be announced.
While paying homage to their native region's 1990s black metal heritage, the cinematic synth/goth rock of the prior decade, and the raging early punk movement ahead of that, Okkultokrati still manages to create sincerely original and infectious music through every bar of Raspberry Dawn, resulting in a starkly raw and original sounding album.

Experimental New York death metal band Pyrrhon (pronounced "peer-on”) have partnered up with Willowtip records (North America) and Throatruiner (Europe) to release new material.
"We're absolutely thrilled to be working with these two fantastic labels, as clichéd as that might be. Willowtip has been the foremost name in weirdo death metal mutations since we were all in middle school, and Throatruiner has become one of the world's best purveyors of unclassifiable heaviness in recent years. Both have released work by many past and current band favorites, and we look forward to delivering our strongest work yet (another cliché, but true!) amid such excellent company”, comments vocalist Doug Moore.

With new album Dead Planet out this Friday, December 2nd, on Good Fight Music, Hollow Earth offers up a stream of the entire album, premiered via MetalInjection:
Founded in the greater Detroit area, Hollow Earth has been perfecting its apocalyptic metalcore over the past few years, gradually arriving at a sound that's essentially the ultimate soundtrack to hurtling through glorious yet deadly expanses of deep space.
Dead Planet pushes Hollow Earth's outerspace obsessions via a full-fledged sci-fi storyline, connecting it to the band's previous release, the Parting Remains EP. Concept and music are synced perfectly – monolithic Neurosis-core evokes visions of the interstellar void.
