Industrial Juggernaut Ministry will embark on a co-headlining U.S. tour with experimental rap trio Death Grips. The tour kicks off at The Palladium in Worcester, MA on October 13th and will hit Pittsburgh, Seattle, and San Francisco before concluding on November 11th at Gas Monkey Live in Dallas, TX.

California-based classic death dealers Necrot unleashed the fetid fruits of their Blood Offerings full-length on June 9th via Tankcrimes and on cassette in partnership with Sentient Ruin Laboratories. The eight-tracks comprising Blood Offerings were captured by Greg Wilkinson at Earhammer (Vastum, Graves At Sea), mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Nails, Gatecreeper), and will come sheathed in the unholy cover craftings of Marald Van Haasteren (Bolt Thrower, Baroness).
Blood Offerings orders are currently available. The limited vinyl edition comes as a foil-stamped, gatefold deluxe LP available in four color variants: 150 in purple splatter, 350 in gold splatter, 500 in black, and 1000 in gold.

A new documentary about the unlikely rise of the metal scene in Lancaster, PA is taking shape under the moniker, Barn Burner. This project has been spearheaded by local writer, producer, and Emmy-award winning filmmaker Tyler Horst (JUMP Magazine) for the past year and a half. The documentary focuses on the rise of such bands August Burns Red, This Or The Apocalypse, and Texas in July, among others. Blekkmetal is a documentary about the one-off 2015 festival of same name, celebrating the origins of Norwegian black metal. Featuring exclusive interviews and footage of Enslaved, Taake, Aeternus, Gehenna, Helheim, Old Funeral, Kampfar, Hades Almighty and Gaahls Wyrd performing classic and rare songs from their catalog, Blekkmetal features an all-Canadian production team including director David Hall (alumnus of Concordia University), metal studies scholars Vivek Venkatesh (Concordia University) and Jason Wallin (University of Alberta), and mobile media scholar Owen Chapman (Concordia University). Blekkmetal is co-produced by the festival’s organizers Ivar Bjørnson, Jannicke Wiese-Hansen and Kirsti Rosseland.
