Swedish metal trifecta Watain, In Solitude, and Tribulation tore through Philadelphia’s Underground Arts venue for a beer-soaked, evil whirlwind of eardrum crushing performances.
Watain have left a media buzz in the wake of the release of the band’s fifth album, The Wild Hunt currently out via Century Media Records. Amid these new tracks teeming with Watain‘s classic black metal sound, The Wild Hunt also dabbles with clean vocals, Spanish guitars, and other musical experimentation, with the end result being “their most daring album yet” (Decibel Magazine). Check out the following links to preview The Wild Hunt, singles: “All That May Bleed” and “The Child Must Die“.
In Solitude have returned to Sweden after their successful North American tour with Watain and Tribulation. Throughout the tour, In Solitude performed a set consisting of songs from each of their three albums, including their newest release, Sister on Metal Blade Records, which has garnered heaps of praise from press worldwide, with Decibel Magazine declaring that “In Solitude embody all the best elements of heavy metal: flamboyance, melody, theater, escapism, menace, power. All are on masterful display on Sister, and the rest of the metal world has been served notice.”
