Exclusive Full Stream of New Enabler Album All Hail The Void
We are very pleased to bring Blow The Scene readers around the world an exclusive full stream of Enabler‘s forthcoming full-length album, All Hail The Void, before it officially drops on the mighty Southern Lord Recordings on July 17th.
With an infectiously potent concoction of crusty metal, punk, and dashes of hardcore, Milwaukee’s Enabler have just delivered one of 2012’s best albums. Chock full of punishing riffs and meaty distortions that sit precisely on top of a barrage of blistering double-bass work, d-beats, and laser-sharp fills, you’ll be hard pressed to find a weak cog in this musical juggernaut of a full-length.
Enabler is currently pummeling the masses on Southern Lord‘s package tour with legendary crust band, Martyrdöd, as well as, Black Breath, Burning Love and various special guest appearances as the tour makes its way across the US.
This is a band to see live. With an explosive set that is both sharp and powerful, Enabler is poised for big things as we head into 2013.
Enabler members are no strangers to the road and have a long history of prolific work with some of the most hard working and sought after bands in the US.
Founded by guitarist/vocalist Jeff Lohrber (Harlots, Eyes Upon Separation, Trap Them, Today is the Day, Shai Hulud), the Enabler lineup is rounded out by guitarist Greg Thomas (Misery Signals, Shai Hulud, The Risk Taken), bassist Amanda Daniels and drummer Andy Hurley (Racetraitor, Kill the Slavemaster, Fallout Boy, The Damned Things, Earth Crisis).
For this record, Enabler again enlisted the talents of artist Jimpaler, who constructed the album’s unique design and has handled similar duties for many of Enabler‘s young, but dense catalog of EPs and split releases. This 35-minute rager was recorded and engineered by Enabler guitarist Greg Thomas, who displays his comfort both behind and in front of the mixing board.
We recently caught up with Enabler for an exclusive photo gallery as they rolled through Philly last week, so be sure to stop back soon as the gallery goes live.
We know you are here for the tunes, so without further ado..
