Eyehategod, Full Of Hell, Clamfight, and Clean Teeth recently hit the stage at Brooklyn’s St. Vitus venue with BTS’s Dante Torrieri on hand to capture the evening in photos for our viewing pleasure.
EYEHATEGOD continues to support the Housecore Records-released self-titled LP which hit streets in 2014, ending a 15-year drought since the band’s prior full-length. Eyehategod marks the most successful release in the band’s twenty-five-year lineage. The album landed at #82 on the Billboard Current Album chart, and #4 on the Hard Rock chart and saw near relentless touring around the World in support with scores of metal mainstays and newcomers alike. OC Weekly described the new material stating “… a Southern influenced, doomy, stoner metal mix of equal parts Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Trouble, Black Flag and the Melvins that many newer bands often emulate, but none can replicate.” Simple but true. There is only one Eyehategod.
Full Of Hell are reportedly tracking a new LP in conjunction with recent tour-mates The Body. The band had a huge 2014 with their now infamous collaboration with Merzbow that saw light via Profound Lore Records and decorated numerous year-end lists including our own. The bill was rounded out by Jersey’s rifftastic doomy metal outfight Clamfight and Brooklyn’s Clean Teeth who are wrapping up the fixings for a forthcoming album on Dullest Records. Listening samples and links of all the guilty parties below the fold. We highly encourage you to dig deeper and check out all of the bands.
