Languish debut new music video “V”

Enjoy a video debut from the Arizona-based crusty metal merchants, Languish as the band gears up to drop a fresh split with ORYX via Battleground Records. This split effort was created in the tradition of classic underground split releases seeing many facets of punk and metal come to together for one eclectic release. The ORYX/LANGUISH split LP will see first light via Battleground Records on April 1st in a run of 300 copies on thr all-mighty 180-gram black wax including a digital download.

Despite being a relatively new band on the scene, Languish benefits from a cast of members that have done time in several notable acts from the Tucson-area including Gatecreeper, North, and Territory adding both the depth and substance one would expect from a veteran group. Languish recorded their debut album Extinction with local engineer/producer Ryan Bram (Sex Prisoner, Godhunter, Territory, Prom Body) in November 2014, the record released digitally and on cassette.

While sharing similar tonal devastation values as their A-Side sludge metal counterparts on the split, Languish opts for a much more rapid delivery, deploying a caustic crust/grind attack with opposing guttural/scathing vocals and waves of d-beatings for diehards of Excruciating Terror, Phobia, Disfear, Disrupt and Driller Killer, this split seeing Extinction pressed to vinyl for the first time. Languish has appeared alongside Ufomammut, Serial Hawk, Cult Leader, Homewrecker, Sex Prisoner, Nothing, Usnea, Cloakroom, and opened for Sleep at the 2015 Southwest Terror Fest IV at the historic Rialto Theatre.

Without further ado, enjoy the sludge-drenched, but delightfully metallic debut of “V” music video by Frank Huang / Pit Full Of Shit
