With Bone Deep & Numbing, Lesser Life continue to hone a naturally dark and deliciously low-end-saturated presence that has been a signature sound for the group. Bone Deep & Numbing is what I picture Yautja and Dead In The Dirt might sound like meeting in a dark alley- Groovy, dirty, sludge riffs that trans-mutate into blistering grind with a range of guttural vocal attacks to compliment. Fans of both camps should find a lot to love here.
Bone Deep & Numbing was recorded by Kris Hilbert (The Body, Centuries, Torch Runner) at Legitimate Business in Greensboro, NC before being mixed and mastered by Colin Marston (Artificial Brain, Gorguts) at Menegroth, The Thousand Caves. The cover art was completed by Michele Carnielli of Seals Of Blackening.
