Heavy hitters Pallbearer and Tombs recently took Philly’s Underground Arts venue by siege with locals Vattnet Viskar rounding out the evening.
Decibel Magazine, who named Pallbearer‘s most recent LP for Profound Lore Records, Foundations Of Burden the #1 album of 2014, recently premiered and is currently streaming “Fear and Fury”, a new song Pallbearer recorded between touring sprints in the Fall of 2014. “Fear and Fury” is available to Decibel Magazine subscribers as an extremely limited 7″ vinyl flexi disc and through Decibel‘s site.
In addition, Pallbearer have announced a string of European dates this spring (which include appearances at Temples Festival in the UK and the massive Primavera Sound festival in Spain, and Primavera Porto).
Tombs is continuing to support a latest LP via Relapse Records, Savage Gold, that Pitchfork aptly describes stating, “..You can feel their newfound focus and commitment here, racing through every new crest Hernandez hits or each burly refrain Hill bellows. It seems like a valiant journey through what he calls “Shades of darkness/ Kingdoms of ashes”—triumphant and without trepidation.” Tombs and Black Anvil will tour Europe and the UK this Spring as the Savage Death European Tour.
Tombs will also play this year’s Psycho California Fest on Friday, May 15 – 17th alongside such mainstays as Sleep, Kylesa, Pentagram and Pallbearer.
