Cruel Hand, Angel Du$t, The Beautiful Ones, Timebomb, and Scripted Youth collectively laid waste to Philly’s Voltage Lounge venue courtesy of Philly Hardcore Shows. Resident BTS hardcore expert, Anne Spina was on hand to deliver a fresh batch of photos for our viewing pleasure featured below the fold.
Cruel Hand is currently supporting a debut full-length for Hopeless Records entitled, The Negatives, that was released in late 2014. This latest effort sees Cruel Hand exploring new sonic avenues and genres that has seen a prevailing love it or leave it response from the band’s base. Unfettered, the Maine four-piece continues to bludgeon audiences with a ferocious live output, having recently been named a feature on 2015’s This Is Hardcore Fest along with The Exploited, Nails, Snapcase, and countless other hardcore mainstays performing during the 4-day, Philly-based music festival.
Baltimore’s Angel Du$t are supporting a new full-length on React! Records, A.D., released in June of 2014. Angel Du$t is currently on a two-month tour of Europe before blazing trails in the US with Iron Reagan and Noisem this June.
Mesa’s The Beautiful Ones are currently supporting a forthcoming effort on 6131 Records entitled, Jaded Love, that is due to hit streets later this month. New Noise Magazine commenting, “The Beautiful Ones are not the sort of band that sets out to turn things on their head, but with Jaded Love they may be naturally stepping in that direction, and the results are striking.” This bill was rounded out by hard hitting acts, Harvcore Records‘s Scripted Youth and Timebomb.
