San Fran’s punk rock mainstays, Dwarves recently hit Philly’s Kung Fu Necktie venue in support of the band’s latest and ninth overall full-length, The Dwarves Invented Rock & Roll, which hit streets in the Fall of 2014 via Burger Records. The album has seen wide praise from critics and fans alike with DyingScene commenting, “Drugs, fornication, depression, disturbing descriptions of death, immolation, gore, pediphilia, devil worship. And that’s just the first three songs..They do nothing new with Invented… but add another chapter to their scuzzy history..4/5”
The bill was rounded out by two long-standing Philly punk rock acts that should not be missed- Hate & War and Loafass. Hate & War offering a strong streetpunk lean while Loafass prefer to kick it to ya with some funk ‘n’ roll. We’ve included listening samples, links for purchase, and further investigation below of all of the guilty parties.
