Texas purveyors of thrashy hardcore, and Southern Lord recording artists, Power Trip ripped through Philly’s Kung Fu Necktie venue along with Cross Check, Rock Bottom, Freedom, Heathen Reign, and Strength For A Reason for an evening of unrelenting hardcore provided by Philly Hardcore Shows booking group.
Headliners included the PA hardcore staples in Strength For A Reason, who are currently supporting their latest LP, Through Cold Eyes which was released earlier in 2013 and has seen the band featured on such festivals as the mighty This Is Hardcore Fest and East Coast Tsunami alongside some of the most sough-after bands in hardcore music. Power Trip are also celebrating the release of their latest full-length, their Manifest Decimation LP out now on Southern Lord Recordings, which was hailed across numerous year-end lists in 2013 and saw the band tour across the US and Europe and with such mainstays as Bane, and a recent noted appearance at A389‘s 10th anniversary bash.
We have a special split gallery for you today as BTS photographers Dante Torrieri (Useless Rebel Imaging) and Anne Spina (Anne Spina Photography) split up the action.
