It was another night of rowdy hardcore presented by Joe Hardcore as long-standing East Coast mainstays, Slapshot ripped through the Kung Fu Necktie venue with Vengeance, Hounds Of Hate, The Storm, and The Last Stand in tow. Hounds of Hate bring an angst ridden barrage of straightedge anthems straight from their home turf of Braddock, PA, as the band continues to support a number of DIY releases that can be found here. Vengeance made its live debut a memorable one as the current members of Philly mainstay bands Reign Supreme and Quiet Arcs begin to make waves with this newly formed quartet. And of course, Slapshot let it rip with poignant set that was equalled only in crowd response as the band keeps up a formidable pace now over a quarter century deep in the hardcore scene.
