Alt-rock super group Tomahawk, featuring Duane Denison, Mike Patton, John Stanier and Trevor Dunn, recently swung through Philly’s Union Transfer venue during the band’s first East Coast tour in over a decade.
Tomahawk are currently supporting a new album, Oddfellows, which is the band’s first release in over six years and has already become Tomahawk‘s highest charting debut, cracking the Billboard Top 100 and landing at #2 on Billboard’s Hard Music chart.
Tomahawk also recently unveiled the video for “Oddfellows,” the title track from their recently released album, via Loudwire. The live clip, which features an assortment of animation and appropriately odd graphics, was filmed and animated by Vincent Forcier.
The band had previously released a video for “Stone Letter,” also directed by Forcier, that was shot during the band’s late October tour and features a studio performance from the quartet that includes Duane Denison (Jesus Lizard, Unsemble), Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mondo Cane), John Stanier (Battles, Helmet) and Trevor Dunn (Melvins Lite, Mr. Bungle). You can check that out now at Pitchfork.
Blow The Scene Senior Photographer Dante Torrieri (Useless Rebel Imaging) was on hand for the packed show with another exclusive photo gallery for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.
