UK’s fuzz-soaked rockers Uncle Acid And The Beats ripped through Philly’s Underground Arts venue along with Portland’s Danava recently with Blow The Scene‘s Dante Torrieri on hand to deliver an exclusive set of photos viewable below the fold.
Uncle Acid And The Beats released their third album Mind Control last year. The effort was recorded at the renowned Chapel Studios with engineer Jim Spencer (Bert Jansch, Robert Wyatt) and released via Metal Blade Records/ Rise Above Records and seen favorable reviews from fans and critics alike.
In support of Mind Control, Uncle Acid And The Beats played North America for the first time this May as part of the Maryland Deathfest and recently concluded a highly successful tour of Europe and the UK as well as sold out dates in New Zealand and Australia.
In conjunction with the tour, Uncle Acid And The Beats released released a new 7″ single entitled “Runaway Girls”. The band also shot a video for the song viewable below:
