Murder City Devils brought their infectious blend of punk rock to Philly’s Union Transfer for a tight, late Friday night, 2-band bill, rounded out with support from Cincinnati garage-pop band, Tweens.
Making strategic appearances throughout the US since their reformation in 2006, Murder City Devils continue to support last year’s Every Day I Rise/Ball Busters In The Peanut Gallery, 2-song 7″ that created a buzz with BrooklynVegan commenting, “It’s a real solid single, and sounds surprisingly fresh for a band who hadn’t put out anything new for ten years.”
For those familiar with Murder City Devils, we’re not preaching anything you don’t already know here.. This current show at Union Transfer was again a shining example of a rare stage energy, frantically commanded by a group of natural punk rock purveyors with a more than willing audience.
Blow The Scene’s Senior Photographer, Dante Torrieri (Useless Rebel Imaging) was on hand to capture the evening in photos for your viewing pleasure.
