Pittsburgh’s Oi! punks in the newly formed band, No Time, recently embarked on a three-day regional tour that ripped through Cleveland, Philly, and DC with Blow The Scene Staff Photographer, Tanner Douglass on hand to deliver a stellar photo immersion piece for your viewing pleasure.
For those just tuning in, No Time was formed by ex-members from one of Pittsburgh’s most brutal extreme acts, Heartless, who took the underground world by storm in recent years with the Hell Is Other People LP on Southern Lord and 2013’s Certain Death EP on Alerta Antifascista Records (which made BTS’s Best Of 2013) before calling it a day in the latter portion of 2013.
This current musical reincarnation of sorts has found the band members repositioned on new instruments. Former Heartless bassist Adam Thomas is handling vocal duties and has already seen comparisons to Fucked Up’s Damian Abraham and seminal Oi! outfit, 86 Mentality. Longtime fans of punk rock and Oi! should find a lot to love here. Definitely another band to keep an eye on in 2014.
