This Is Hardcore Fest 2013 ripped into Day 4 with yet another incredible line-up of sought after hardcore with Sick Of It All, Trapped Under Ice, Paint It Black, Suicide File, Negative Approach, 100 Demons, Slapshot, No Redeeming Social Value, Code Orange Kids, Strength For a Reason, Colin Of Arabia, Clenched Fist, Pride Kills, and Relentless. Let us not forget, intergalactic hardcore mutants, GWAR will closing the show this evening!
Today had yet another rad twist as the members of Philly’s SCA came in full regalia and proceeded to cordon off a section of the outside courtyard for real, hardcore, battle action. With swords, armor, and shields, these brutes (including TIH founder Joe Hardcore) demoed this fine practice by pummeling each other with blows that could be heard hundreds of yards away. We’ll let the pictures do the talking on these showdowns..
We’ve seen an incredible turnout this weekend with vendors, food trucks, activities, bands, photographers, musicians, artists, distros, and more. We’ve heard “This has been the funnest show ever” from more people than we can count throughout one of the US’s biggest hardcore festivals with friends from around the world. The prevailing vibes have been beyond enthusiastic, but all great things must come to an end.
We’ll have one more round of candids later tonight before we conclude our onsite coverage and our stage photographer Anne Spina begins to edit her gargantuan collection.
Blow The Scene‘s Dante Torrieri and Joshua Cohen will continue to hold down the candid and crowd shots as Anne Spina gathers her massive collection of band shots from the stage. Our official band galleries will be posted separately following the conclusion of TIH as we did in 2012.
