Glassjaw Drops First Studio track in 7 Years

All Good Junkies Go To Heaven on VinylAfter countless viral leaks since their last official studio release over 7 years ago, Glassjaw are officially dropping 1 new studio track “All Good Junkies Go To Heaven” through guitarist Justin Beck’s MerchDirect as vinyl only single.

We did receive a high-quality leak of this track and we have decided not to post it. Sorry. But as artists ourselves, we have respect for importance of artistic control. And if you’re clever, this track won’t be hard to find in the coming days and weeks.

“All Good Junkies Go To Heaven” is unquestionably a solid offering from a band that is held to high standards amongst a cult-like following of fans. The odd-meter roots of this track coupled with the phenomenal bass and drum work is alone worth the wait. Admittedly, this is not an over-the-top performance from vocalist Daryl Palumbo and guitarist Justin Beck, but they more than carry the weight of Durijah Lang’s polyrythmic ear-candy on drums and Manuel Carrero’s incredibly tasty bass licks. And why not let the rhythm section shine? Glassjaw is far too clever to give up the best of what’s to come, and having seen and heard over a half-dozen of these yet-to-be-released tracks, I can assure you, you haven’t seen/heard anything yet.

So I leave you with this – The Studio Demo-Version of “You Think You’re John Fucking Lennon” released in stream format only by Glassjaw in 09. Old news, but still awesome.
