LA’s Legendary Native American Crust Punk outfit, Resistant Culture is embarking on a special month-long, full US tour entitled Sacred Fire 2010. Having formed in the mid 80s under the name Resistant Militia, the band combines elements of tribal music, including indigenous flutes and chants melded with a brutal grind-influenced dbeat and crust-punk foundation. Having seen a laundry list of musicians come and go, founding member Anthony Rezhawk, has remained steady at the helm.
The band received an increased amount of press attention when Jesse Pintado (TERRORIZER/NAPALM DEATH) joined Resistant Culture in 2004 and contributed to the group’s writing process and live performances for over two years until his untimely death in August of 2006.
The band’s current line-up has been consistent since 2003, as drummer Ben Axiom was added to the roster to join classically trained guitarist, Katina (whose guitar work is featured on Terrorizer’s latest effort) and long-time bassist Rafa.

Resistant Culture is supporting the first pressing of All One Struggle on clear vinyl, with a gatefold, and 24×36 full color poster and the third pressing of their Welcome to Reality CD. Both releases are available at Seventh Generation Records and were funded by a co-op of international labels spanning the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and several European countries.
