UK’s 3-piece decimation unit Helpless debuted its first album Debt in September via Holy Roar Records and immediately entered the game as a best of 2017.
Fusing the best elements of the dark, often ambient hardcore approaches of mainstays such as Coalesce and Cult Leader, Helpless add more grind and grit to form an ungodly heavy concoction. Debt is an unrelenting ride from one of the UK’s most promising bands. Not surprising that these lads were hand-picked to support Nails on a recent UK trek.
A definite band to keep an eye on as we head into 2018. If you’re just tuning into the band, consider this your late pass. Full album stream below.
