Southern California’s Grammy-nominated metal quintet, As I lay Dying ripped through Philadelphia’s Trocadero last Thursday in support of their most recent LP, Decas, which hit streets on November 8th via longtime label Metalblade in celebration of the band’s 10th anniversary.
Decas features three new studio tracks, covers of groups that influenced the band, and remixes by INNERPARTYSYSTEM (Katy Perry, Ladyhawke, Thursday, Good Charlotte and many others), Benjamin Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan), Kelly “Carnage” Cairns (Austrian Death Machine, War of Ages), and Big Chocolate (Asking Alexandria, iwrestledabearonce, Suicide Silence).
Dubbed the A Decade of Destruction Tour, As I Lay Dying brought along special guests Of Mice and Men, The Ghost Inside, iwrestledabearonce, and Sylosis to round this touring package which kicked off on Nov 30th in Long Island and wraps up in the band’s hometown of San Diego on Dec 16th.
