The Death To All Tour featuring surviving members of pivotal metal band, Death along with special guests Anciients, recently ripped through Philly’s TLA venue for a packed house. Proceeds from this tour will be donated to Sweet Relief, an organization that provides finicial help to all types of musicians in need of financial assistance for healthcare and other necessities. Undoubtably inspired by the untimely passing of the band’s founder Chuck Schuldiner, who died of cancer in 2001, the show proved to be worthy celebration of this sorely missed, and widely influential guitarist and vocalist. The revolving cast of Death musicians assembled mission ready on this evening, as they fired off just about every track long-time fans shouted over the crowd. The precision and care that went into these renditions was truly striking.
Season of Mist recording artists, Anciients, all but stole the show as they continue support their debut release, Heart of Oak. The band was recently picked up for the current Lamb Of God US Tour ending in Tulsa, OK on June 10th. Heart of Oak recently made Billboard’s “Heat Seekers” Top 50 chart as the band continues to make waves metal and rock landscapes. And here we are with yet another band to keep an eye on in 2013.
Without further ado..
