Touting themselves as the real punk rock tour of the summer, while bad mouthing the corporate bullshit that now goes along with the Warped Tour, you knew you were in for a fun night. Laugh it off! started the night out with a fun up tempo quirkiness reminiscent of early Descendents, not bad for only their third gig. The Holy Mess was up next confessing that it was much to early for them to play, because they had no time to drink first. Lots of energy out of this local Philly band and it shows in the pictures. Dead To Me followed up by confessing that they had enjoyed a few too many city wide specials at the bar a block away, they’re witty humor made up for any mistakes through the set. I made sure I wasn’t leaving without an album from them. And finally we were graced with the sounds of Off With Their Heads. They had limited set time before the Barbary had to kick us out for a silly dance party, so we got no nonsense- just song after wonderful song.
