The city of Baltimore is one of those hard working, blue-collar towns that is fortunate to have a solid grip of area DIY promoters and record labels blossoming with exciting and authentic underground talent. Maryland Deathfest, immediately comes to mind to many.. But this weekend the city of Baltimore will become the epicenter of the hardcore punk world as one-time reunions of now legendary bands Catharsis and Left For Dead will help celebrate the Ninth Anniversary of A389 Recordings. Boasting one of the best rosters across all of the indie landscape, A389 Recordings will surely be stretching its reach to a wider audience after this round of showcase performances featuring Despise You, Integrity, Isla, Full of Hell, Gehenna, Dead In The Dirt and many more.
The label’s founder and main operator Domenic Romeo was recently featured at Decibel Magazine for a behind the scenes look by Scion A/V. The first of several videos can be seen below.
The events kick off in a few hours at The Ottobar with performances by Integrity, Dead Gods, Vilipend, and Withdrawal. Full list of events in the flyer below.
Ps – Blow The Scene will be on hand for the Ottobar show tomorrow, so check back soon for our exclusive coverage.
