Abigail Williams Extends Headlining Tour and Releases New Album

Abigail Williams - BecomingIn light of the cancellation of Dark Funeral‘s North American tour earlier this week, Abigail Williams – who were confirmed as direct support for the entire trek — have extended their current headlining tour. On top of the run of eight headlining dates the band already announced, kicking off last night in Las Vegas, thirteen newly-booked shows across the East Coast and all the way through the Midwest were just confirmed this week.

Additional tour dates are likely to be confirmed so stay tuned for further developments. For now check out the band’s full tour itinerary as it stands, including the monstrous twenty-seven city March Of Death this March when death metal legends Deicide will tour the entire continent with support from Abigail Williams, Jungle Rot and Lecherous Nocturne.

With Abigail Williams third album full-length venture, Becoming, confirmed for North American release on January 24th, Hails & Horns Magazine is hosting a full stream of the album at this link.

The organic style of Becoming offers stark contrast to previous Abigail Williams releases, bearing six vast tracks of their most expressive and complicated material to date. Becoming was recorded in various warehouses throughout Los Angeles, with the lineup for the album including returning guitarist Ian Jekelis, studio drummer Zach Gibson (ex-The Black Dahlia Murder) and as always, vocalist/guitarist Ken Sorceron, who handled all mixing, mastering, production and engineering duties.
