Musician and artist, John Dyer Baizley (of Baroness) to perform in first public music performance since the now infamous 2012 UK bus crash, tonight at Philadelphia’s First Unitarian Church. This rare solo performance was just announced with the mighty Ghostlimb and local support by Plague Dogs, Heavy Medical, and Xanax.
We don’t normally post for single show events, but this one is special. After months and countless hours of rehab, Baizley is taking the place of previous announced headliners Reign Supreme (who are themselves dealing with an immediate family loss.) Blow The Scene will be there to capture to the show in photos, so check back soon if you can’t make it to Philly this evening.
Tickets will be available at the door or via r5 productions.
If you missed our viideo interview with John Baizley last year following a performance at Philly’s TLA, check it out here.
Last week, we showcased Baizley‘s latest art works with his apperfectmosnter collection at a recent Phill Punx Picnic: Media and Arts show. Dig it.
Happy Sunday.
