Suppression continue US Tour, prepare to bludgeon East Coast
Richmond VA’s Suppression are a long-standing mutant hardcore duo with a penchant for noisy grind, currently churning up stages on a rapid tour across the USA. Suppression‘s lineup features longtime members Ryan Parrish (Iron Reagan, ex-Darkest Hour) on drums and the ever-prolific and always experimental Jason Hodges (The Yes Sirs, Bermuda Triangles, Rectal Pus) on bass, electronics, and vocals.
For the uninitiated, Suppression utilize a jarringly explosive noise/grind/hardcore fusion that has been unleashed across a vast collection of splits and eps over the last two decades. Many releases seeing the light of day through Hodges‘ own label imprint, Chaotic Noise Productions.
The band’s latest LP, a collection of 73 new songs entitled Placebo Reality, is exclusively available on 12″ vinyl on these tour dates. Not even an online stream can be found of these cuts yet, which is awesome. And all the more reason to hit up one of the final dates on this tour.
