For the past decade, Germany’s Ketzer have steadily made a name for themselves as one of the most promising blackened thrash bands in Europe. Ketzer recently set their sights on the US for a small club tour where Blow The Scene‘s Dante Torrieri caught up with band at Philadelphia’s Kung Fu Necktie venue with Philly rock n’ rollers, Bonzai in tow.
Ketzer is currently supporting modern-day-classic, Satan’s Boundaries Unchained, and newest LP, Endzeit Metropolis. Metal.de gave this latest effort a 8/10 commenting, “Sophisticated but also snotty Black Thrash Metal of the brand AURA NOIR or DESTRÖYER 666, wrapped in a while timely and transparent, but also dirty production..”
