The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival 2012 swept through Camden, NJ’s Susquehanna Bank Center with an impressive cast of metal mainstays and newcomers including Slayer, Motörhead, Anthrax, Asking Alexandria, As I Lay Dying, Whitechapel, The Devil Wears Prada, Slipknot, and more. It was a gathering of young and old with an edge in numbers going to the adolescents. Now in its fifth annual installment, the nationwide festival tour is still surpassing its own ticket sales records across some of the largest outdoor and amphitheater venues in the US, proving the state of metal to be very healthy across generations of music lovers.
