New York City punk legends The Casualties have made the odd-couple pairing of the 2010 touring season as they announce a nation-wide tour with Richmond’s thrashing galactic warriors, GWAR. The tour kicks off October 2nd in Baltimore, MD at Sonor and wraps up November 5 in Houston, TX. The Casualties continue to tour in support of their latest full-length effort We Are All We Have which was released in 2009 on long-time label One Side Dummy. It’s a safe bet The Casualties will be sampling some new material as well as tearing through classics that span their 20+ year existence. GWAR are continuing to support their most successful LP in their 25 year run, Lust in Space which debuted at #96 on the Billboard top 200 in August of 2009. The band continues to grow in popularity throughout the world, now a quarter of century deep in the music game. Fans should expect to hear a plethora of classic tracks and some new material as the band is set to release Bloody Pit of Horror of Metal Blade Records later this year. Get your raincoat out and expect to be covered in intergalactic love by this slime throwing crew of metal thrashers.
