Andretti, cast, and crew of Book of 1000 Deaths are wrapping production, and along with hard work…comes sweet behind the scenes imagery. Misti Dawn dons a darker side of Mary Jane Watson for her role as Lila the Legend Teller. Lila and her frisky sidekick Whiskers bring you four stories that are more than just myths or fairy tales … these are urban legends with endings that are far from happy. In the first legend, “The Clown Statue“, Jasmine is a college freshman with some sticky financial problems. So, to make some extra cash, she takes up babysitting while going to school. Jasmine winds up watching the Newtons’ kids, Allie and Jonas, and everything couldn’t have seemed more normal. Little did Jasmine know, she would be a victim to a deranged clown serial killer who is out to kill all babysitters! The next urban tale is the infamous “Kidney Jacking“. Misti, an everyday nine-to-five office desk worker, has the worst Friday imaginable. On her way to work, she stops by her boyfriend’s house only to catch him sleeping with another woman. She decides to join some friends from work at their favorite bar to try forgetting the horrible experience. Misti ends up meeting James, a British fellow determined to help Misti by buying her drinks. After one too many, Misti blacks out. When she awakes, she finds herself in a bathtub filled with ice and missing a kidney! Now Misti must do whatever it takes to escape from the house and find help before it’s too late. The third legend, “Bloody Mary“, involves six friends in their mid 20′s who meet up for a friendly get-together at Scott and Jessica’s house. When the friendly bunch find out that Monica has never played Bloody Mary growing up, they peer pressure her into playing to show her it’s just a hoax. After some drinking and joking around, the group performs the ritual of calling Bloody Mary … unaware that on this night Bloody Mary WILL finally appear exactly as the creepy legend tells. The final horrifying plot is “The Man, The Myth, The Legend“, which follows two college roommates, Nate and Vince. Vince happens to be a real ladies man while Nate has just recently been dumped by his girlfriend. One night on campus, the guys decide to attend a party with Vince’s teammate, Briggs. This is one party Vince wishes he would’ve missed, because on this night…he may not be so lucky with the ladies.
