Northern Cali's Drain the Sky along with Memphis's River City No Comply, rolled through Philly on April 19, 2011 at local South Philly punk staple JR's, as part of their week-long East Coast Tour. One of our local favorites, Philly d-beat/distort punks Nightfall and grind duo My Nation Underground also played. Drain the Sky consist of a hardcore/punk veterans including bassist Carl Auge (ex His Hero is Gone) who "collaborate to create visceral, atmospheric, threatening music that seeks to collapse (musical and other) boundaries."
