The Melvins recently made a trek across the US celebrating their 30th anniversary as a driving force in the music world. Blow The Scene’s Dante Torrieri was on hand to cover the Philly stop at Underground Arts to deliver a fresh batch of exclusive photos. Melvins are currently gearing up to release Tres Cabrones, a 12-song full-length that finds Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover reuniting with original drummer Mike Dillard. This new effort will hit streets on Nov. 5 via Ipecac Recordings.

Californian behemoths MELVINS and HIGH ON FIRE are teaming up for a series of shows down under starting this week. Each band is touring through the region, and joining forces for five dates in New Zealand:

The Melvins are set to perform each Friday throughout January at Spaceland (Silver Lake, Calif.) with a different set and featured albums including the band's current line-up, a 1983 incarnation with Mike Dillard and several albums in their entirety.
The band's most recent release, The Bride Screamed Murder, was released by Ipecac Recordings in June. A limited edition vinyl version of the album will be on sale at the shows with each handcrafted album featuring detachable artwork from one of ten different artists.
