Lubriphonic Announce US Tour With Special Guests ?uestlove and Buddy Guy
By admin + Published Wednesday, January 5th, 2011 at 6:16 pm
Chicago’s Lubriphonic are hitting the road this winter in support of their latest release The Gig Is On – including shows with larger than life artists like Buddy Guy and ?uestlove. The rock ‘n roll and soul seven-piece create a funky and full sound with a powerful three-piece horn section, silky bass lines and sensational guitar work topped off with a smoky vocal style that typifys the Windy City’s famous brand of blues. The Gig Is On kicks it up a notch by featuring New Orleans keyboardist Ivan Neville who has tickled the ivory for the likes of the Rolling Stones and the Spin Doctors – he also happens to be the son of the legendary soul and R&B singer Aaron Neville. More information about the tour and the new album is available at Lubriphonic’s Official Websites.
