California based 6131 Records is fast becoming known as a hardcore musical taste maker, from their early work with such up-and-coming bands as TOUCHE AMORE, SUCH GOLD, BAD SEED and CRUEL HAND. While JOYCE MANOR is clearly different from anything 6131 Records has released in the past, the label states that after hearing their self-released EP and seeing their live show, “there was no way we could not work with them”. The band’s influences range from WEEZER to GUIDED BY VOICES to SCREECHING WEASEL, and on their first full length release out this January JOYCE MANOR are sure to impress.
