It's not very often you get to see major reggae acts like Stephen Marley and Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad on a stage without a barricade and less than 15 yards of dead space in front of it. Yet, this past Sunday July 17th, the two harbingers of positive energy made their mark on one of Philadelphia's fastest rising venues, The Blockley.

As most of you know, we don't cover much reggae on BTS, but when we got the heads up about shooting the The Winter Greens Tour with The Green, Giant Panda Guerllia Dub Squad, and Rebelution, we figured it would be worth checking out. Admittedly, my knowledge of reggae starts with Black Uhuru and ends with Bob Marley, which by no means makes me an authority on the genre.
