As all the Glassjaw fans out there know, the band is back on the road after a several year hiatus and a self-imposed media blackout. BTS's goliath Assistant Editor caught their show at Pittsburgh’s Altar Bar last week. Photographer Ashley Ryon, who we interviewed a few months ago, also happened to be there. Glassjaw have announced a US Tour to kick off Mid-February in Philadelphia, PA, which comes on the heels of Amazon showing a January 1, 2011 date for Our Color Green (The Singles) which appears to be digital release of the latest string of singles Glassjaw have released on limited vinyl pressings over the past several weeks. No supporting acts have been announced yet, but special ticket bundles with limited show posters are available now at guitarist Justin Beck's MerchDirect.

New York's indefinable, post-hardcore quartet, Glassjaw are releasing a new 7-inch today. And in true Glassjaw form, this release is exclusively through Mario's Pizzeria in Seaford, New York where fans will be treated to a special performance at 11:11pm.

Glassjaw, with no rhyme or reason, have dropped a live music video of "You Think You're John Fucking Lennon," at Glassjaw.com. This is the second stirring of this sleeping giant this month as the video is posted on the heels of Glassjaw's first studio release in seven years. After countless viral leaks since their last official studio release over 7 years ago, Glassjaw are officially dropping 1 new studio track "All Good Junkies Go To Heaven" through guitarist Justin Beck's MerchDirect as vinyl only single.
We did receive a high-quality leak of this track and we have decided not to post it. Sorry. But as artists ourselves, we have respect for importance of artistic control. And if you're clever, this track won't be hard to find in the coming days and weeks.

Groezrock is an annual music festival that takes place in Gestel, a part of Meerhout, Belgium; featuring some of the best underground bands in the world. Started as a very small DIY fest in the early 90's; Groezrock has grown to become one of Europe's premier spring festivals drawing over 30,000 peeps.

Glassjaw (sometimes stylized glassJAw or GlassJAw) is a four-piece experimental/post-hardcore band from Long Island, New York. The band is fronted by vocalist Daryl Palumbo and guitarist Justin Beck, and have undergone numerous line-up changes since their inception. The band has been influential in the progression of the underground music scene in the eastern United States and United Kingdom and on the post-hardcore genre, and are known for their intense live shows and constant line-up changes.
