Last Sunday August 12, From Ashes Rise, Victims, Death First, Stockpile, and Sickoids broke off a very special This Is Hardcore Fest after-show in honor of local Philadelphia promoter Greg Daly's 34th birthday. Local d-beat practitioners Sickoids and Stockpile, who both share Witch Hunt's ex-drummer, gave the early-comers a blast of adrenaline to kick off the night. NYC's Death First put in a impassioned performance with their trademark blend of d-beat-meets-NYC-hardcore. For those who did not get in on This Is Hardcore Fest 2011 tickets in time, Sweden's Victims, along with Portland's legendary crust punk outfit From Ashes Rise, brought the house down in Philadelphia for the second time in one day. Best Friends Day The organizers of Best Friends Day are stoked to announce not only the bands for this year's Best Friends Day 10, which takes place in Richmond, VA from August 18-21, 2011, but also the line-up and tickets for Friday night's show.
