As promised in our previous Weezer post, we've been keeping an eye on the band and it's now official.. Alternative rock legends, Weezer have confirmed through Epitaph that the "Blinkerton Tour" is now a reality as their latest LP Hurley, hits stores today!
"This winter (November/December), Weezer will launch a multi-city U.S. tour, dubbed by fans as the "Blinkerton Tour." The band will play two shows in each market-on the first night Weezer will play the Blue Album in its entirety, and the second night they will play Pinkerton in its entirety."

Earlier this month, Weezer announced they were leaving the major labels behind after nearly two decades of riding the corporate wave and have joined forces with successful indie-label, Epitaph. Weezer's latest effort, Hurley, is scheduled to hit store shelves September 14, 2010 via the indie-Goliath, who has set up pre-orders online for fans. The first single, "Memories," can be streamed for free from the band's Myspace.
