Hardcore-punk outfit Ceremony, who have been hailed as the "Best Band in Hardcore Punk" by AMP magazine, have been brewing up a new LP and have just announced tour dates.
You can stream Ceremony's new song "Sick" from their forthcoming release Rohnert Park exclusively at Bridge 9 Records. The album hits streets June 8 but you can pre-order at the Bridge 9 Store.

Philadelphia’s Creepoid recently played an over packed record release show with their hometown hero Kurt Vile and stamped themselves as Philadelphia’s next “constant hit makers”. Creepoid sounds like Mazzy Star lamenting a love affair with the Telescopes, and the result is a rainy day staple. Although Creepoid’s first release is dreamy and understated, recently performed tracks hint towards a more explosive, primal future.
Buy this before it is out of print. Creepoid stand out with their first release, but I expect even greater things to erupt in the not so distant future.

Philadelphia’s The Party Photographers are an unexpected fill for the void that Beat Happening may have left in your heart.
With only a single seven-inch released by Ian Records, the Party Photographers show infectious twee promise. The Party Photographers are both minimal and imaginative, and have released a seemingly carefree lo-fi seven-inch for twenty somethings chasing dreams.
Recommended for fans of all things kill rock stars.

John Sharkey III has distanced himself from his more aggressive former bands (Clockclean Er, Nine Shocks Terror) to produce an addictive debut ep titled 4 from his newest solo project Puerto Rico Flowers. Released on Fan Death Records in January 2010, 4 offers a deliberately minimalist; dark repetitive dark wave record that lends it’s self to be listened to over and over. In fact, when I first purchased 4, my room mate had to ask me to “lay off the Puerto Rico Flowers record” when I played it back to back a week straight.

In a musical climate where a chosen few artists get deemed the "next big thing" by major record labels, I often find myself looking to the past for artists that filter their music through their souls rather than through the current mainstream media obsession, the resounding public opinion, or a monolithic record company's bottom line. It seems like every new mainstream artist just tries to mimic the current Beyonce or T-Pain trends, desperately trying to get a piece the of the overnight success pie instead of trying to take the musical experience to the next level. The records should be arriving from the pressing plant any day now, and will be available on a one-sided 12". We will also be releasing a high quality (320 kbps) mp3 version for super cheap. One of our all-time favorite bands, Belgium's own Rise and Fall will be playing H8000 Fest in Roeselare on April 3. H8000 will feature many of the premier bands in the Belgium hardcore scene. What the hell is Groezrock?
Groezrock is an annual music festival that takes place in Gestel, a part of Meerhout, Belgium; featuring some of the best underground bands in the world. Started as a very small DIY fest in the early 90's; Groezrock has grown to become one of Europe's premier spring festivals drawing over 30,000 peeps.
