Any lover of experimental music in the New York area should be aware of Pendu’s 3rd Annual Eye and Ear Fest! All acts are New York based and experimental in nature-but most of the similarities stop there. The diverse line-up promises that this will not be another endurance test music festival of the same thing over and over. Pendu’s website allows visitors to stream songs from each artist participating in the festival. Check out the Pendu Presents NY Eye and Ear Fest and listen to everything that this festival has to offer! Following Courtesy of Pendu’s Facebook Pendu presents: NY EYE & EAR FEST …a massive Annual Music and Arts Fete showcasing some of the most exciting bands, artists, and filmmakers currently living and working here in NYC. In addition, NYE&E assembles a Record Fair featuring NYC-based Record Labels and Vendors selling LPs, CDs, 7′’s, cassettes, lathes, comics, zines, stickers, and art prints. NYE&E exists to facilitate the introduction of new artists placing them side-by-side with the more well-known like an eclectic living mixtape of sound and vision. This is a festival for discovery – discover new bands + discover new art + buy new records + meet new people… The title of the fest is inspired from the 1964 NY Eye & Ear Control soundtrack by Albert Ayler as well as the all-too-familiar signs seen daily in the subway tunnels by riders of the L-train of the infamous NY Eye & Ear Infirmary. http://www.pendu.org/nyeyeandear —> NY EYE & EAR FEST has been praised by top media publications as: “The only legit glimpse into the bubbling cauldron of NYC’s true underground music scene” – Vice Magazine “A giant, swarming, lovingly handpicked showcase of grassroots cultural production in New York” – Arthur Magazine “Homegrown bands and labels finally get the locals-only blowout they deserve” – Village Voice “Highlighting the best of the Brooklyn music scene.” – Greenpoint Gazette _______ GET YR TIX NOW! only 300 capacity so tickets will likely sell out. ++ BONUS: You will be automatically entered into a raffle for One Free Hour of Tattooing at Twelve 28 Tattoo (http://www.1228tattoo.blogspot.com) in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
