Erykah Badu has teamed up with producer turned director Flying Lotus for a new music video for song “Gone Baby, Don’t Be Long” with added visual efforts from Beeple and Vince Ream to create a classy, galactic journey into a mind of Hip Hop’s leading artist.
“Gone Baby, Don’t Be Long” follows the controversial video release for “Window Seat” which featured Badu stripping off all of her clothing in a symbolic walk through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, the location where JFK was assassinated in November 1963.
“Gone Bay, Don’t Be Long” is the second single off of New Amerykah Part II, Return of the Ankh, which we recently named the top Hip Hop album of 2010.
