I’m always Right (Sided) “If you’d have half a brain, you might get somewhere in life.” A phrase that I’ve heard more times than I can remember. The fact is, I do have half a brain. That’s right, only half. The good half – the right half. Good old 1 ½ pounds situated on the right side of my skull, filled with spaced out thoughts and visuals of the unimaginable philosophies and dreams – unfathomable even to myself at times. The right side of the brain is responsible for the music we’re so passionate about, the ink in our skin, and our favorite movies. Needless to say, the “right siders” improve our lives in many different ways, making even the most mundane things interesting. Not to take anything way from the other pound and a half, but let’s face it – a world of only “left siders” ruled by structure, ration, and logic limits the idea of making the impossible possible, which is the essence of the right side. The path to exploring the right side’s manipulation of everyday life is filled with peril. If you dare, we can follow the yellow brick road to unveiling the inner most workings of our time’s most influential art – half a brain at a time. Find out what side of your brain is dominant.
